Teachers' Diploma in English History (1918)
The Winter 1917-8 Teachers' Diploma Examination of the College of Preceptors began on 31 December, and was held in London at the following local centres: Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Cork, Dublin, Glasgow, Guernsey, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle-on-Tyne, Plymouth; Accra; Cape Town; Madras, Bangalor, Cawnpore and Coonoor; Kuala Lumpur; Assiut; and Philadelphia. The pass list was published 1 May following in The Educational Times.

The Royal College of Surgeons, established by royal charters, issued this calendar 1 August 1928, including official lists of all its fellows, members, licentiates and diplomates. The register of fellows gives full name (surname first) and address (in italics), with dates of admission as fellow and member. The list of members gives year of admission, full name (surname first) and town or country of residence. The lists of licentiates give year of admission and full name, but no indication of current address: entries of fellows of the college are prefixed with a double dagger, those of members with an asterisk. The lists of diplomates give year of admission and full name (surname first), with those diplomates who were neither members nor fellows of the college indicated with a dagger. This is the index to the members.

Graduate Structural Engineers (1953)
The Institution of Structural Engineers was founded in 1908 and incorporated by royal charter in 1934. The institution had nine branches in Britain and Northern Ireland, and one in South Africa. The 1953 year book includes this list of members corrected to 1 August 1953, giving year of election to the various grades, surname (in bold), christian name, honours, address, and telephone number. 'Graduates shall be students of structural engineering who have attained the age of not less than 21 years and have passed a qualifying examination.'
