The Convicts' Office of New South Wales issued these lists of inhabitants to whom male convicts had been assigned to work as servants or farm workers. The list gives each inhabitant's surname, christian name (or rank), address, and number of convicts and for what work. February 1836.

These returns, registered in March 1838, from the 103 banks then in existence, contain the full names and addresses of about 30,000 shareholders. This bank had branches at Manchester, Preston, Burnley, Birmingham, Chester, Leek, Burslem, Liverpool, Blackburn, Ashbourne, Rochdale, Shrewsbury, Ellesmere, Uttoxeter, Whitchurch, Newport and Ludlow.
