Mariners' Church Donations: Windsor (1845)
Each monthly issue of The Mariners' Church Soldiers' and Sailors' Gospel Temperance Magazine, published by the Temperance British and Foreign Seamen's, Soldiers' and Steamers' Friend Society, and Bethel Flag Union, to promote religious instruction and temperance moral reformation and general unsectarian missions in the British Empire, at home and abroad, contained a section of Acknowledgments of sums contributed by individuals or through the Bethel churches to the society's funds, and in support of the orphan home. Masters of Ships at Barbados (1848)
Each issue of the Barbados Mercury and Bridgetown Gazette included a Shipping List, listing arrivals and departures of ships. The arrivals list gives the date of arrival, type of ship, name of ship, master's surname, the port the voyage started, and the number of days at sea. The departure list gives the date of departure, type of ship, name of ship, master's surname, and destination. Most of the voyages are to and from other West Indian islands, England, Demerara (in British Guiana) and the northern colonies. September 1848

Irish Bankrupts (1849)
Perry's Bankrupt and Insolvent Gazette, issued monthly, included lists of Irish bankrupts to surrender at the Court of Bankruptcy on Lower Ormond Quay. The initial entry gives the name of the bankrupt (surname first, in capitals), address and trade, often with the phrase dlr. and ch., for 'dealer and chapman'; the dates of the stages of the official surrender, the name and address of the agent and the date of the fiat. This is the index to the names of the bankrupts, from the issues from January to December 1849.

Perry's Bankrupt and Insolvent Gazette, issued monthly, included lists of bankruptcies and stages in the liquidation of the estate, payment of dividends, and discharge. In descriptions of meetings as the case progressed the bankrupt is often merely referred to by name and trade. This is the index to stray names in the bankruptcy meetings, of co-bankrupts, solicitors, &c., from the issues from January to December 1850.
